In our first season in the Whitstable Pool League we managed tonight ( to the chagrin of many other’s ) to hit the top spot in division Two ..... this is an automatic promotion place ! Next week we are looking at putting on a tournament at the club due to the fact that we have a bye ....... PM me eh ?

Great to see so much commeraderie amongst the team.
I surpose the result reflects the hours of practice put in on the club table and giving the bar a reason to stay open in the evenings ( as it should anyway ). Well thanks again to TONY LOVE at THE NEW INN for staying open normal hours so the pool team could celebrate going top of the table.

It’s confirmed now if we hold a tournament on wednesday (23rd ) the bar can stay open. This tournament will be open to all....... NOT just the pool team, hmmm shame we can’t get the Sugababes in to kick it off eh ?

It was a very good evening.......... thx to all who supported us ! Congrats to Richard ....hmmmm maybe being Abbs driver helps eh ? Naaaaaa you played really well and deserved to win ! 

Good to see we went back to top position after Savoy Z could only manage a draw against Richard and Abby’s old team eh ! ....... Any chance that we could all turn out to cheer on Kris and Pete on wednesday for their league singles ? could be a good night guy’s.

Yet another win by the YC pool team ! ...... this time the Blue Anchor B were our victims. Scoreline was 3 - 7 ..... hmmm thats getting kinda familiar eh ?

Well its official now, WYC are confirmed as First division for next season ....... all that remains for this season is we need a draw in the final two games to become division 2 champions. Well done team !

thanks to all the pool team for a sterling effort on weds. another 6-4 win for the yacht club. However could have won by more if it wasnt for are none playing captain throwing the last game. We have heard rumors hes pimping it up for the east kent next season. only joking chris we still love u x x A&K;

well done all we have finally managed to break our 1st division duck ......... 5 matches if i remember rightly with 4 draws amongst them ( i’m sure that i will be corrected if that’s wrong ) so an 8 - 2 win takes us into a solid mid league position and we are lookng good now.

I do realise that mid summer is not a good pool playing time as there is so much more to do at this time of year ....... but a few frames a week just makes all the difference ( same as i have always said about sailing , its all down to time on the water) but in this case time at the table lol.
