Pete Nicolson, Mark Barnes’ crew, is looking for a crewing job at the Brightlingsea Merlin Open, whilst Mark has a social obligation elsewhere. Pete is advertising on the Merlin website forum. I would think he is likely to be snapped up pretty quick. He is a Brightlingsea member and I suspect he just might be able to find a helmsman a bed. So grab him and get up there.
Lots of good reasons to go. Brightlingsea is a nice friendly club, roughly two hours away, probably our nearest Merlin fleet neighbour and growing nicely. Camping right next door to club and I think caravans and B&B;readily available close by. They always used to be when I were an Essex Lad. It is not far to open sea, very like WYC conditions in decent weather and there is a small but interesting estuary if it howls. See Brightlingsea SC website for details.
Jacko and other Essex Boys we know should be there.
Question: What do you get if you turn three Essex Blondes upside down?
Answer: Two Brunettes and a Redhead.
