Results have been updated to include last weekends race and today’s race. With Steve G distracted by the boat show this weekend, Lee has snicked back into the lead!

Next weekend is the March Hare Open ACH, 2 races both to count, entry fee £2. If nice weather there will be a small break between races, so you may wish to bring a snack. If chilly races will be back to back.

Well ok, not updated actually as I have not got a copy of the offical results.

I am reliably informed that today the results of the first two were Lee Goodey of Braodstairs then Steve Gray (yet another second!), but this still leaves the series open to Steve but he is now relying of a boat or two getting between him and Lee. Both have only discarded races not sailed so far, so it does come down to the last race. As is often the case at Westbere anything can happen. If neither sail, but Elliot Piper-Brown from Minnis does then the series could be his.

Jon your optimism is legendary, by my reconing the earth would have to move in a big way for Lee to lose! I await the results sheet (and weather forecast) before deciding where to sail Sunday!

Steve, the results are now available. You only need to score 3 less points than Lee!

Dosn’t he just need to nail Lee to the back of the fleet?

Lee has to count tomorrow but Steve has an extra result ... should be easy ... or have I missunderstood the discards?

unfortunately there is a problem with ftp to Sailwave that i need to resolve before I publish the results, but Lee managed a fourth place today which wa enough to win the series from Steve on countback after scores were equal. If only Steve had turned up!

Steve looked to have it in the bag with a nice bit of sailing the opposition into the bushes ...

Well it looks like I got the maths wrong…

But I did watch the Grand Prix (recorded) in preparation for the Whitstable race. But come the race you may be amused by what Nick Tatt’s trace say’s about my navigation skills.

Not my day but hey Ho, at least Button won.
