UAV Filming Postponed

Unfortunately the filming of club sailing on Sunday 18th November by an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in partnership with The White Horses PROSPER Project will need to be postponed due to technical reasons. Watch this space for the rescheduled date!
Arts funding has allowed WYC and its’ PROSPER partners (Tracey Falcon and Any Evans) to hire a professional Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) suitable for the marine environment for ans experiment in aerial photography over the WYC racecourse. The UAV being used is not a toy, it is a commercial platform used in counter piracy, sea borne wildlife conservancy and filming assignments, and will be operated by a registered UAV pilot. WYC and our partners are buying a ‘service’ to operate the platform for one day only. This represents a unique opportunity for WYC to assess the strengths of aerial photography in the areas of sailing development and for engaging our local community in exciting ways.
