Club wins safety boat at dinghy show!
Whitstable Yacht Club came away from the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show with a brand new Avon Safety 420 on Sunday (22 Feb). The boat comes complete with a 20hp Suzuki Marine outboard engine and an Extreme trailer. New Club Manager Anthony Middleton was there with his son, WYC cadet Dexter, 13, to accept the prize. RYA affiliated clubs from across the country entered the competition and the field was narrowed down to five for the big draw on Sunday.
