The bar at Whitstable Yacht Club is very much the social hub of the club throughout the year, backed up by the veranda in summer months.
Few clubs have longer opening hours which provide the opportunity for a range of social events both formal and informal through the week.
There’s an extensive range of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic with occasional guest ales to keep things interesting with snacks, teas and coffees in support.
Keith’s Coffee Hut is situated in the forecourt of the club where hot and cold drinks and a range of hot snacks are available daily.

Tuesday: 14:00 – 21:00
Wednesday: 14:00 – 23:00
Thursday: 14:00 – 21:00
Friday: 12:00 – 22:00
Saturday: 12:00 – 21:00
Sunday: 12:00 – 20:00
Bank Holiday Mondays have Sunday hours.

Holding an event at WYC
The club is a great location for a private party or event and members can book the Sea Room/Bar or the Committee Room to host anything from small gatherings to large wedding and birthday parties.
Please contact the club manager to discuss holding event at the club who will ask you to complete a brief form that covers all details.
Extended bar opening can be arranged given adequate notice and all aspects of catering and entertainment must also be agreed in advance.
