Whitstable Yacht Club is proud of it’s 125 year history and is planning to celebrate that heritage with a five day regatta open to visitors from sailing clubs both local and further afield and members.
Whitstable offers some of the best sailing conditions in the south-east, with great racing especially at all levels and has a record of hosting regatta’s and championships from the Flying Dutchman World Championship, the Finn Gold Cup and numerous national championships. The club is uniquely situated facing the beach in one direction and the main street of a great holiday town in the other.
Whilst Whitstable is famous for its Oysters it also offers great restaurants, pubs, beach walks and shopping – all within a stone’s throw from the club! There’s plenty of space to park your boat and if required a great chandlery right next door.
