Wanderer Nationals & Wayfarer Southerns

We are delighted to host our friends in the Wanderer and Wayfarer fleets for an open meeting. There will also be cruises for the Wanderer fleet on Aug 12th to Shellness, Aug 13th to Swale Marina and Aug 14th to the Shipwright’s Arms (cruising subject to agreement to the Swale cruising event guidelines – found via link: http://Swale cruising event declarations

The club has an enthusiastic fleet of Wanderers and offers some of the best sailing conditions in the south-east. The club is uniquely situated facing the beach in one direction and the main street of a great holiday town in the other.

Whilst Whitstable is famous for its oysters it also offers great restaurants, pubs, beach walks and shopping – all within a stone’s throw from the club! There’s plenty of space to park your boat and if required a great chandlery right next door.

There is limited campervan parking between August 11-16 close to the club that can be booked through this website.

1. You must be an event participant – helm, crew or helper in Wanderer and Wayfarer racing cruising and/or cruising between 12th and 16th August.
2. You are welcome to include others, such as your crew or helm, partner, guest, family.
3. Paul asks that for this event you make your booking by email to the event organiser, richard.maltby9@gmail.com ; and with payment also to HR Maltby, event account no. 83851079, sort code 20-25-41, @ £25 per person (£12.50 child under age 16), with the reference by your surname.
4. Richard will acknowledge bookings, which can only be accepted on payment. Please be sure to book early as we are budgeting for 40 persons. Cancellation with full reimbursement can be accepted no later than 9 a.m. on Wednesday 12th August.
