We are delighted to be hosting one of the country’s most revered chefs, and Whitstable local, at the club next month. Stephen Harris of the The Sportsman in Seasalter will talk about his career and his latest book, The Sportsman at Home. As an added bonus, club manager Anthony (who until last September owned a restaurant in London) along with ex-employee, chef Brian, will be cooking a tasting menu of small plates from Stephen’s book:

Whisky and coffee trifle
Spaces for dinner are limited, but everyone is welcome in the bar. We already have a few bookings so get online now. For all six courses it is only £25.
Arrival is 7pm with food starting at 7.30pm, interspersed with Stephen talking with Andrew Provan and then an opportunity to ask questions. Stephen will have copies of his new book and will sign afterwards. So if you’ve been to the Sportsman and wondered how they produce such wonderful food, now’s your chance to get the inside knowledge.
