Improver Sessions
Members are always welcome to come along to our adult improver sessions on Wednesday evenings and Sundays. These sessions are for members who want to enjoy a recreational sail with safety boat support and/or want to improve their sailing skills with the availability of expert advice.
Participants are expected to be RYA level 1 standard, and booking is required for these sessions.
Club boats are available for hire at a small additional cost for the session.

Transition to Racing Sessions
Open to all members (adults and cadets) who have achieved RYA level 2 or RYA youth stage 3. Ideally with a little racing knowledge.
3 sessions at the weekends in May covering a number of different topics from starting, upwind sailing, mark rounding, and rules. We will then have 4 races with a safety boat to coach you through a separate start and around the course. These finish a couple of weeks before Whitstable Week so you’ll have all the confidence to join the other racers.
