A course for complete beginners. Learn how to sail in all directions and awareness of launching and recovery.
Course content: Rig, launch, turn around (in multiple directions), land and have wind awareness.
Ability after course: to sail a boat supervised. We will be using Topper topaz, Laser Pico and occasionally a double hander. 9am to 5pm each day.
All clothing, boat hire, certificate and book included in cost.
A members only improvers session. Hire a club boat or take your own boat out to practice going round some buoys. A laid back session with instructor help to improve on skills that are a bit rusty and enjoy a sunset sail.
Please arrive at the start time and we will have a briefing 45 minutes after this. Please be rigged and changed for briefing in the classroom. We will be in the water for about an hour and 15 minutes. After the session we have have a debrief.
Please book in to show attendance, own boat or club boat.

Clothing can be hired from us for £1 per item. Wetsuit, shoes, splash top and buoyancy aid. All to be returned washed out after the session.
